New dance partner

I'd like to introduce you to Linda.  We met at the Paradise Ballroom last Nov.

                 Linda             At Red Lobster

She is an RN, and she is looking after me and my diabetes.  She is also a great dancer.  She is a Christian.  Well, that's all I have to say for now.

I still plan to be in your area soon.  We MUST have a Denny's reunion.

Love to all.

DANCE PARTY

What a blast!  There were 29 people who showed up.  It was almost a private party.  Only 3 couples from the regular Sat night crowd were there.  All the others had another party to go to.  I wore my tux (my pretty costume).  I HAD TO dance with every lady present.  The first dance was a cut-in where I started dancing with one lady, then each one cut in and continued the dance.  I chose a waltz because there were a lot of beginners there, and we had just completed a beginning waltz session.

I have learned a lot of new waltz, cha cha cha, swing, tango, bolero, and foxtrot steps.  Dancing is such good exercise.  I was dancing one night, and started to leave the floor when a lady asked me to dance.  After that, another asked.  As I was attempting to leave the floor the fourth time, a new, first time attender leaned over and said, "You just don't quit, do you"?  I said..."they won't let me."  It's tough, but someone has to do it.

The prettiest lady in the house wanted to know why I didn't ask her to dance.  How nice!

For the first time in ages, there is a place I can go dance on New Year's Eve that won't cost $50 - $100.  I am looking forward to it.  Some of the singles are worried that only couples will show up, and have asked if they can hang out with me.  Of course, I had to turn them all down.  Sure I did.  I also have this ocean beach front property in Montana to sell you if you believe that.

I got the sweetest phone call birthday greeting from Carol and Katie and Rich and Penny.  Thanks a whole bunch.

My Christmas shopping is all done, and wrapped, except for one gift.  Way ahead of the game!  We traditionally stay up the 23rd drinking eggnog and frantically wrapping gifts.  Wait a minute.  What did I just wrap, and who is it for?  Where's the tape?  You didn't wrap it up did you?

I love all you guys (and gals).  Have a wonderful Christmas, and if you happen to think of me, think kind thoughts.

There are only 10 kinds of people in the world.  Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha  I saw this last week and started laughing so hard I had to explain it to people around me.  If you get it - enjoy.  If you don't, email me and I will explain it.  I hope a lot of people don't get it, so I can talk to you.  Hey, even if you get it, email me.

I am doing a lot of dancing.  Tango, Nightclub 2 step, Bolero, Rumba, Cha cha cha.  I am also learning more Waltz, Foxtrot and East Coast Swing.  I am teaching some people to Swing, and Foxtrot.

My birthday is Dec. 16, and I am inviting everyone to my dance party.  I hope someone shows up.  It's near Christmas and a lot of offices hold their parties that weekend.

I signed up for 8 weeks of private lessons.  They will finish up late Jan.  Depending on road conditions, I may be leaving for parts South soon after.

Well, Hello World!!!!!!!!!!!   Not only have I been busy, but my computer went stupid.  It contracted a virus and I couldn't stay on line long enough to do anything.  I paid $65 to get it fixed, and now I am back.  Not that I have anything to say.

The weather is turning cold.  Leaves are changing color and falling.  My fav time of year.

I missed not getting to see all the people who said they were coming up this summer.  I guess I will have to come back down there to see all you guys and gals.  Let's have a Denny's reunion.

My son Darrin, who plays softball ended up the season in the middle of the pack.  They are currently playing one pitch.  The batter goes to the plate with a count of 3 balls and 2 strikes.  You get one shot.  Either hit, walk, or go out.  It makes for a fast game and lots of fun to watch.

My son Mike, is doing quite well.  He has recuperated from his chemo treatments.  Right now, he has tingling in his hands, and finds it difficult to drive sometimes.  That is tough when his business involves driving every day.  His daughter Madison, is doing well.  She is on meds for her epilepsy.  No recurrances since being diagnosed.

I have a granddaughter who is 21 years old!!!  She and her brother are both in college at U of O.

My son-in-law whomped me in golf every outing this summer.

I went to see "Wicked" on stage.  It was quite enjoyable.  I got to go because a friend who had a ticket got sick at the last minute.  She was happy that the ticket got used.  I told her that I owe her 13 nights of dancing to repay her.  She readily accepted.

Love to ALL.
